Uravu Eco Links (UEL) is developing a Pan-India network of like-minded experts in the bamboo sector as well as related fields that will have a positive impact on the development of the bamboo sector. Through this network, UEL seeks to combine its experience in project implementation on the ground with strategic planning. The Company has longstanding experience in the bamboo sector in the field of bamboo trading, bamboo-based construction and eco-friendly community tourism, and has planned and implemented various projects and workshops for a wide range of institutions. Members of the UEL team and network have established experience in consulting with stakeholders from Government, Indian industry, international organisations and civil society which share a commitment to developing the bamboo sector in India. UEL’s vision and mission are based on the Sustainable Development Goals.

UEL has organised workshops for various institutions including INHAF Habitat Forum (Bamboo Log Project), Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, NIT Calicut, Kerala Forest Research Institute, Christ School of Architecture, University of Applied Sciences Berne, Switzerland, FOA-FLUX Switzerland, and Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland.

Members of the UEL team and network have consulted with the National Bamboo Mission, Kerala State Bamboo Mission, Maharashtra Bamboo Development Board, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, UN Agencies, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), among others.
