Sivaraj is the Managing Director of Uravu Eco Links Ltd. He coordinates all the company’s activities – construction, bamboo trading, training, workshops, field research and community tourism. He has 20 years of experience in the bamboo sector and is one of the founding members of the charitable trust Uravu Indigenous Science and Technology Study Centre (Uravu). He also played a vital role in the formation of the Uravu-Kabani Homestay project of Thrikkaipetta, which has been operating successfully since 2008. He had coordinated the Base line Socio-economic study to develop the bamboo sector in Meghalaya, which was conducted by Uravu Eco Links for the Soil and Water Conservation Deparartment, Government of Meghalaya during 2021-23.
