AI Learning Lab: Exploring the Future of Learning with Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we learn, create, and solve problems. To introduce these possibilities to the local community Eco Links Village Library, hosted an engaging session titled “AI Learning Lab “, led by AI educator Shameer Machingal at Uravu Bamboo Grove
The interactive session brought together students, educators, and curious learners who were eager to understand how Artificial Intelligence can become a meaningful learning companion rather than just another digital tool.
Shameer Machingal demonstrated how AI can be effectively used across various fields, including education, art, and craft. A major highlight of the programme was the discussion on responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence. Participants were encouraged to use AI with critical thinking and discretion, understanding that AI-generated content should always be verified, interpreted thoughtfully, and complemented by human creativity and judgment. The session emphasized that AI is a powerful assistant—not a replacement for independent thinking, curiosity, and original ideas.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion where participants shared questions, experimented with AI tools, and reflected on how they could integrate AI into their personal learning journeys.
